Position Summary

Reporting to the Training Programs Manager, the Flight Training Administrator is responsible and accountable to maintain updated Flight Crew Training Records and to ensure that all training is scheduled to meet all of Perimeter’s training program and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

·        Manage and ensure completion of Flight Crew Training Records

·        Issue online training courses and ensure follow-up of completion by due date for all pilots

·        Manage the creation, maintenance, uploading, issuance and tracking of Flight Ops training in the Company’s online learning management software (LMS) system and facilitate in-person training as needed

·        Create training schedules and work with Crew Planner to ensure that training is completed with minimal operational impact

·        Ensure that all training is conducted prior to expiry and that all Flight Crew are current and trained

·        Audit training forms to ensure completion

·        Arrange accommodations and travel for training students

·        Work with Corporate Training Coordinator to ensure that pilot training forms are completed to company standards

·        Coordinate training aircraft, simulators and ATC airspace for training events

·        Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Education, Experience and Certifications

·        High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent

·        Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)

·        Able to read and understand policies, manuals and other regulatory documents

·        Demonstrate knowledge with respect to the content of the Company’s Operations Manual, Flight Crew Training Manual, and the provisions of the regulations and standards necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position

·        Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations

·        Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset

·        Airline experience considered an asset

Working Conditions

·        Physically able to perform all listed job duties

·        Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role

·        Work performed primarily in an office environment

·        Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and telephone
